आजकल सरकारी विद्यालयों में कक्षा 9 से कुछ हाथ के हुनर से संबंधित कोर्स चलाये जा रहे हैं जिन्हें हम वोकेशनल कोर्स कहते हैं । इसे भारत सरकार के द्वारा राज्यों में NSQF(एन. एस. क्यू. एफ) प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत चलाया जा रहा है । इससे अभिप्राय नैशनल स्किल क्वालिफिकेशन फ्रेमवर्क है । यह सर्वप्रथम हरियाणा राज्य में अगस्त 2012 में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर प्रारम्भ हुआ था । उस समय चार विषयों को उस समय पायलट विषयों के तौर पर और केवल 40 विद्यालयों को इसके लिए उस समय चुना गया । उस वर्ष की नींव ऐसी मजबूत बनी की आज यह लगभग हरियाणा  में  1238 विद्यालयों में सफलता पूर्वक चल रहा है और कक्षा नौ से 12 तक के विद्यार्थी बड़े शौंक से इसमें शिक्षा ग्रहण कर रहे हैं | सर्वप्रथम यह हरियाणा में प्रारम्भ हुआ था लेकिन आज की तारीख में यह कई राज्यों में सफलता से कार्य कर रहा है |

What is NSQF???

इस कोर्स के प्रारम्भ में केवल चार ही विषयों को चुना गया था | आई.टी., ऑटोमोबाइल, रिटेल एवं सिक्यूरिटी |

 ये विषय बेहद ही प्रचलन में थे और इन विषयों के अध्यापकों ने इस पायलट प्रोजेक्ट को श्री के.के.अग्निहोत्री एवं श्रीमती सूरीना राजन जी के नेतृत्व में सफल करके दिखाया | इसके बाद अगले वर्ष 100 विद्यालय और उसके अगले वर्ष 100 विद्यालय फिर 250 और फिर 500 ऐसे करते करते आज की तारीख में यह आंकड़ा 1091 तक पहुँच गया है | यह आंकड़े 2019-20 सेशन के हैं | लेकिन 2020-21 सेशन में और भी विद्यालय सम्मिलित होने जा रहे हैं जो कि बेहद ही सौभाग्य की बात है | आज की तारीख में इस प्रोजेक्ट में लगभग 15 विषय हरियाणा में कवर किये जा रहे हैं  जिसमें से विभिन्न वर्ग के कोई दो विषय प्रत्येक विद्यालय में चल रहे हैं |

विद्यार्थी अब इन कोर्स के बल पर या तो सरकार द्वारा प्लेसमेंट पाते हैं या खुद ही रोजगार लेने में एवं स्वरोजगार में सक्षम हो रहे हैं | यह प्रोजेक्ट वास्तव में काल्पनिक पढ़ाई से बाहर निकल हाथ के हुनर को तराशने के लिए एक रीढ़ की हड्डी की तरह साबित हुआ है |

वास्तव में अब NSQF एक प्लेटफ़ॉर्म है जिस पर स्किल के विभिन्न माप दंडों को लेवल के रूप में परिभाषित किया जाता है। 

Nowadays, courses related to some manual skills are being run in government schools from class 9, which we call vocational courses. It is being run by the Government of India in the states under the NSQF project. This means National Skill Qualification Framework. It was first started as a pilot project in August 2012 in the state of Haryana. At that time four subjects were selected as pilot subjects and only 40 schools were selected for this at that time. The foundation of that year became so strong that today it is running successfully in almost 1238 schools in Haryana and students from class 9 to 12 are taking education in it with great enthusiasm. It was first started in Haryana but today it is working successfully in many states.

What is NSQF???

In the beginning of this course only four subjects were selected. IT, Automobile, Retail and Security.

 These subjects were very popular and the teachers of these subjects made this pilot project successful under the leadership of Mr. K.K. Agnihotri and Mrs. Surina Rajan. After this, the next year 100 schools and the next year 100 schools, then 250 and then 500, till date this figure has reached 1091. These figures are from the 2019-20 session. But more schools are going to join in the 2020-21 session, which is a matter of great fortune. As of today, about 15 subjects are being covered in this project in Haryana, out of which two subjects of different categories are being taught in every school.

Now, on the basis of these courses, students either get placement by the government or are becoming capable of taking employment and becoming self-employed. This project has actually proved to be a backbone for honing hands-on skills beyond imaginary studies.

In fact now NSQF is a platform on which various measurement bars of skills are defined in the form of levels.
