Q.1. What is retailing ?

(रिटेलिंग क्या है ?)

Ans. Retailing is a distribution channel function where one organization buys products from supplying firms and then sells them directly to consumers.

(रिटेलिंग एक डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन चैनल फंक्शन है जहाँ एक संगठन आपूर्ति कर्मों से उत्पादों को खरीदता है और इन्हें सीधा उपभोक्ताओं को बेचता है |)

Q.2. Why retailing is important ? OR Why do we need retailing ?

(रिटेल हमारे लिए क्यों महत्त्वपूर्ण है ?)

Ans. 1.  Retailing is extremely important to everyone because without retailers we would not have access to everyday products that we need.

(रिटेलिंग हमारे लिए इसीलिए जरूरी है क्योंकि रिटेलिंग के बिना दैनिक जरूरतों की वस्तुओं तक हमारी पहुँच नहीं होगी | )

2. Our life would be very difficult if we could not 'pop to the shop' and buy virtually anything we need.

(अगर हम दुकान पर जाकर वस्तुओं को नहीं देख पाएंगे तो हमारा जीवन बहुत ही अलग होगा |)

3. Retail has changed our life and changed the way we live.

(रिटेल ने हमारे जिंदगी को और जीवन जीने के तरीके को बदल दिया है |)

4. 'Producers'  advertising is done by retailers only.

(निर्माताओं का विज्ञापन सिर्फ रिटेलर्स के द्वारा ही किया जाता है |)
