Transmission system has mainly three components :-

Auto vehicle has to work at different speed on different contacts of tyre
roads, their level and slopped road (ii) It vehicle has to bear idling and
quick acceleration due to different requirements of roads and resistance
according to habits of driver for all this purposes, gear box is required.
