Q.1.What is driving licence? What are its types ?
Ans. Driving licence is a document which indicates permission granted by Govt. authorities to drive that motor vehicle on public place for which driving licence is made.
(ड्राइविंग लाइसेन्स एक दस्तावेज है जो कि प्रदर्शित करता है कि हमें राजकीय प्राधिकारी द्वारा उस वाहन को सार्वजनिक स्थान पर चलाने की अनुमति दी गई है जिसके लिए लाइसेन्स बनाया गया है।)
It is of two types:
(i) Learner Licence:- This is a temporary licence valid up to 6 Months. This is issued to learn driving of motor vehicles.(यह एक अस्थायी प्रकार का लाइसेन्स है जोकि छ महीने के लिए वैध होता है, यह मोटर वाहन की ड्राइविंग सीखने के लिए प्रदान किया जाता है।)
(i) Permanent Licence:- This is permanent licence having validity of some years. This is applied after one month to six month of issuing of learning licence.
(यह स्थायी प्रकार का लाइसेन्स है जिसकी कुछ वर्षों तक की वैधता होती है। इसका लर्नर लाइसेन्स मिलने के एक महीने से लेकर छ महीने के बीच में आवेदन किया जाता है।)
Q.2. Which is the minimum required age for driving licence?(ड्राइविंग लाइसेन्स के लिए न्यूनतम आवश्यक आयु कितनी है?)
Ans. A person should have completed 16 years to obtain licence for two wheeler without gear.
A person should have completed 18 years age to obtain licence for two wheeler with gear.
For Transport vehicles, a person should have completed 20 years of age.
(एक व्यक्ति जिसने 16 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर ली है वह बिना गियर वाले दो पहिया वाहन का लाइसेन्स प्राप्त कर सकता है।
एक व्यक्ति जिसने अठारह वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर ली है वह गियर वाले दो पहिया वाहन का लाइसेन्स प्राप्त कर सकता है।
परिवहन वाहनों के लिए एक व्यक्ति ने कम से कम 20 वर्ष की आयु पूरी की हो। )
Q.3. What is necessity of Motor Vehicle Insurance? Which are the types of Motor Insurance Policies?(मोटर व्हीकल ऐक्ट की जरूरत क्या है? मोटर इन्श्योरेन्स पॉलिसी के प्रकार कौन कौन से हैं ?)
Ans. Driving a motor vehicle without insurance at public place is a punishable offence in terms of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
Types of Motor Insurance Polices
a. Liability Only Policy
b. Package Policy(Liability Only Policy + Damage to Owner's Vehicle)
