Ques 18.  What is the function of spark plug ?

Ans.  Spark plug is an important component  in petrol and gas fueled engine. It produces  an electronic spark to ignite the air fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber.

प्रश्न 18. स्पार्क प्लग का क्या कार्य हैं ?

उतर:- स्पार्क प्लग पैट्रोल एवं गैस से चलने वाले इंजनों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण भाग हैं | यह कम्बशन चैम्बर में हवा एवं इंधन के मिश्रण को जलाने के लिए इलैक्ट्रिक स्पार्क पैदा करता हैं |

 

Ques 19. What is spark plug cleaner? What are its main components?

Ans. This equipment is designed to clean spark plug by sand blast and make spark gap test. Spark plug testing is operated on 220V  AC power source Battery clips are provided for this purpose and an external source of compressed air is required for sand blast cleaning.

Components	Functions
1. Push button	located on body to supply ignition voltage during gap test
2. Air valve control	This is used to control the flow of air and sand during sand blast cleaning of spark plug
3. Needle valve	Needle valve is used to increase or decrease the air pressure during spark test
4.Pressure gauge	Pressure gauge is provided on the equipment to record the pressure during spark gap test.
5. Mirror	A metal mirror is mounted at an angle to the rear of the plug test opening is used to observe the action of spark plug during the gap test.
6. Adaptor and gasket	These are provided to install different size spark plug in the test opening.
7.Gap gauge	It is provided for the purpose of checking and adjusting spark plug gaps.

प्रश्न 19. स्पार्क प्लग क्लीनर क्या हैं? इसके मुख्य भाग क्या हैं ?

उतर:- इस उपकरण को स्पार्क प्लग को रेत के ब्लास्ट से साफ करने और स्पार्क गैप जाँचने के लिए किया जाता हैं | स्पार्क प्लग टैस्टिंग को 220V AC के पावर सोर्स पर ऑपरेट किया जाता हैं | इस कार्य के लिए बैटरी क्लिप उपलब्ध करवाए होते हैं और रेत के ब्लास्ट की क्लीनिंग के लिए | कॉम्प्रैस हवा के बाहरी सोर्स की जरूरत होती हैं |

कंपोनेंट्स	फंक्शन
1. पुश बटन	गैप टैस्ट के दौरान इग्निशन वोल्टेज की सप्लाई करने के लिए स्थित होता हैं |
2. एयर वाल्व कंट्रोल	इसका प्रयोग स्पार्क प्लग की सैंड ब्लास्ट क्लीनिंग के दौरान हवा और रेत के बहाव को कंट्रोल करने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता हैं |
3. नीडल वाल्व	स्पार्क टैस्ट के दौरान एयर प्रैशर को बढ़ाने या घटाने के लिए नीडल वाल्व का प्रयोग होता हैं |
4. प्रैशर गेज	प्रैशर गेज को स्पार्क गैप टैस्ट के दौरान प्रैशर को रिकॉर्ड करने के लिए प्रैशर गेज दिया होता हैं |
5. मिरर	गैप टैस्ट के दौरान स्पार्क प्लग के कार्य के देखते रहने के लिए एवं ओपनिंग के पीछे एक धातु का दर्पण दिया होता हैं |
6. अडाप्टर एंव गास्केद	इसे टैस्ट ओपनिंग के स्थान पर विभिन्न आकांर के स्पार्क प्लग को इंस्टॉल करने के लिए उपलब्ध कराया जाता हैं |
7. गैप गेज	इसे स्पार्क प्लग गैप को जाँचने एंव एडंजस्ट करने के उद्देंश्य  से उपलब्ध कराया जाता हैं |

Ques 20. How spark plug cleaner and tester works ?

Ans. Firstly we have to connect air line from 125-150 psi air supply from any compressor. Also ground the equipment properly for proper spark test.

(1). Sandblast Cleaning:- Clean the spark plug from oil or any other sticky material externally and then      insert in the equipment now turn valve to send position them oscillate plug with circular motion, so that cleaner blast can penetrate all  cervices, for about 5 seconds. Now turn valve to air position without removing plug from the opening and again oscillate for a few seconds to clean out  all  particles of loosened carbon. Then return the air valve to off position and remove the cleaned plug.

(2).Gap Testing:-  Adjust gap of old plug and screw old plug in the opening. Clip high tension lead to the plug and set air pressure to connect amount. Press the test button, gradually opening needle valve until the pressure has been around 20 psi above normal. While pressure is being increased, observe action  of the spark plug in mirror. It should be bright and blue.

प्रश्न 20. स्पार्क प्लग क्लीनर और टैस्टर कैसे कार्य करता हैं ?

उतर:- सबसे पहले हमें 125-150 psi की किसी कंम्प्रैसर से सप्लाई को जोड़ना होगा | इसकें बाद उचित स्पार्क टैस्ट के लिए उपकरण को ग्राउंड करे |

(1). सैंडब्लास्ट क्लीनिंग:- स्पार्क प्लग को बाहर से आयल से या किसी चिपचिपे मैटीरियल को हटाने के लिए साफ करें, फिर इसे उपकरण में फिट करके वाल्व को सैंड पोजीशन पर घुमाऐ एवं प्लग को गोलाकार गति में उपर-नीचे करें जिससे ढीले है | गए कार्बन के सभी कण साफ हो जाएं | तब हवा के वाल्व को बंद कर दै और साफ हुए प्लग को हटा दें |s

(2). गैप की जांच:- पुराने प्लग का गैप एडजस्ट करें और ओपनिंग में प्लग लगाएं | क्लिप पर हाई टैंशन लीड़ लगाएं और एयर प्रैशर को उचित मात्रा पर सैट करें | टैस्ट बटन को दबाएं, एयर प्रैशर को सामान्य से लगभग 20 psi अधिक हो जाने तक धीरे-धीरे नीडल वाल्व को घुमाते रहें | जब प्रैशर बढ़ रहा हो तो स्पार्क को दर्पण में जांच करें | यह चमकदार और नीले रंग में होनी चाहिए |
